TROVET introduces new packaging formats for cat and dog food
Starting late 2024/2025, TROVET will implement significant changes to the packaging formats for cat and dog food. We want to ensure that all packaging formats are as uniform as possible.
Cat Food
New formats: All 3kg packages will be replaced with 2.5kg packages.
Not longer produce smaller packages: The production of 500g packages will be completely stopped.
Streamlined assortment: For the Sterilised | SHF variant, only the 10kg package will remain available.
Dog Food
Larger packages: The products Exclusion | NVD, Regulator | OHD, and Mobility & Geriatrics | MGD will change from 2.5kg to 3kg packages.
Smaller bulk packaging: For the products Hypoallergenic (Lamb) | LRD, Hypoallergenic (Rabbit) | RRD, Exclusion | NVD, Regulator | OHD, and Mobility & Geriatrics | MGD, the 12.5kg size will be adjusted to 10kg.
Wet Food
More efficient trays: From 2025 onwards, all 100g cans will be packaged in trays of 12 cans instead of the current 6 cans per tray.
